Don is an accounting professor at the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University. During his Ph.D. at Tulane University, he took leave to work as a Research Fellow for the Securities and Exchange Commission in what is now called the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis. Don’s research is in the areas of financial accounting and corporate finance with particular focus on disclosure and valuation. He has published work in the Journal of Financial Economics and serves as a referee for various academic journals. Talk to him for more than a few minutes and you’ll surely hear the remnants of his southern accent.
